چکیده
Abstract This study explores the influence of thermo-mechanical behavior and microstructure on recovery recrystallization in single-crystal superalloys during casting subsequent solution heat treatment, using miniature testing. Here, temporal evolution resistance was measured situ electrothermal mechanical testing (ETMT) to track process (RX). It found that is dominant only when incomplete dependent both history dependence strain path as well magnitude accumulated plastic strain. A precursor occurrence subgrains deformation twins sample surface, where a characteristic butterfly-type morphology γ′ precipitates always observed highly strained regions. The migration RX grain boundaries accompanied by elimination lattice curvature associated with density geometrically necessary dislocations. Homogenized samples provide most reliable results, while interpreting resistivity changes more challenging inhomogeneity (microsegregation, local variation properties) as-cast material prevails.

Fretting on the cubic face of a single-crystal Ni-base superalloy at room temperature
Fretting experiments were conducted on the (10 0) crystal (cubic) face of a single crystal Ni-base superalloy in two directions, /10 0S and /110S, to study the effect of crystallographic orientation on the fretting response in both partial slip and gross slip regimes. The study involved point contacts using a tungsten carbide (WC) ball with radius 10 mm tested at room temperature. Ball indentat...

In this study, the effect of Ta/W ratio on the microstructure and stress rupture properties of Ni-based single crystal (SX) superalloy PWA1483 was investigated. For this purpose, single crystal (SX) superalloys with different Ta/W ratios (0.75, 1.0, 1.32 and 1.5 in wt.%) were fabricated. The alloys were directionally solidified by Bridgman method under the same solidification condition at withd...
متن کاملIn- and Out-of Phase Thermomechanical Fatigue of a Ni-Based Single-Crystal Superalloy
In this study, the difference between in-phase (IP) and out-of-phase (OP) thermomechanical fatigue (TMF) cycling from 100 to 750 ◦C has been investigated for the Ni-based single-crystal superalloy MD2. In addition, two different crystal orientations were studied, the 〈001〉 and 〈011〉 orientations respectively. When comparing IP and OP TMF lives, a strain range dependency is found for the 〈001〉 d...

this thesis is based upon the works of samuel beckett. one of the greatest writers of contemporary literature. here, i have tried to focus on one of the main themes in becketts works: the search for the real "me" or the real self, which is not only a problem to be solved for beckett man but also for each of us. i have tried to show becketts techniques in approaching this unattainable goal, base...
